Catholics Mark End of Holy Rosary Month with Solemn Procession

On October 31, 2024, the Catholic faithful gathered at St. Patrick’s Parish in the Archdiocese of Lilongwe to conclude the Month of the Holy Rosary.
The evening’s session began with a 5:00 PM Mass, presided over by Reverend Father Charles Phiri.
Following the Mass, the congregation participated in a solemn Candlelight Procession in honor of Our Lady of La Naval.
Devotees, dressed in blue and white, carried candles as a symbol of their devotion to the Blessed Mother.
The event provided an opportunity for the faithful to come together and express their reverence for the Virgin Mary. The procession was a beautiful display of unity and faith, as participants walked together, praying and singing hymns.
The Month of the Holy Rosary is a significant tradition in the Catholic Church, honoring the Blessed Mother and the rosary’s role in Catholic devotion.
